FAQ

Can I switch between Solo and Firm later?+
Yes. You can upgrade Solo → Firm in one click from Settings → Billing. We prorate the difference. To downgrade Firm → Solo, first delete businesses until you have one left.
What happens at business #11 on the Firm plan?+
Your subscription auto-adjusts to $21/month (you pay $2 more, prorated to the current billing period). Same for #12 ($23/mo), #13, and so on. No reauthorization needed.
Are there limits I should know about?+
On Solo: 1 business and no team invites. On Firm: no hard limits - it’s the same product, just billed per business beyond 10. Both plans have unlimited bank accounts, unlimited payees, and unlimited checks.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) via Stripe. We’re working on ACH for annual contracts.
Can I cancel?+
Yes - cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. You keep read-only access to past checks and PDFs after canceling.
Do banks accept SimpleChex checks?+
Yes. We print the real MICR E-13B magnetic font that bank scanners require. We’ve tested with Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, and a number of regional banks.
