Can I use SimpleChex for a personal checking account?
Yes. Add your own name and address as the account holder and your personal account's routing and account numbers. The check prints the same way as a business check.
Where do I find my routing and account numbers?
On the bottom of any existing check, in your bank's app or website, or on a bank statement. The routing number is 9 digits.
Will my bank accept a check I printed myself?
Yes, as long as the numbers are correct and the check is signed. SimpleChex prints the standard E-13B MICR line banks read. Try a small check first if you want peace of mind.
What check number should I start with?
Pick a number higher than any check you've already written from that account (for example, 5001) so numbers never collide.
Is it free?
Free for up to 10 checks a month. If you need more, unlimited checks are $5/month.
